How to moisture-proof organic fertilizer equipment in open storage

2025/02/22

Organic fertilizer equipment stored in the open air is easy to be damp in a rainy or humid environment, resulting in rust, corrosion and even damage to the equipment. Here are some effective moisture protection measures:

1. Cover the device with a rain cloth or dust cover: Cover the device completely with a waterproof rain cloth or dust cover to ensure that the surface of the device is not directly exposed to rain. Waterproof cloth should be selected with good waterproof performance and durable materials, such as PVC coated cloth.

2. Cushion the bottom of the device high: Cushion the bottom of the device high to prevent the device from directly touching the ground and prevent the moisture from rising on the ground. The equipment can be raised using concrete piers, sleepers, or special pads.

3. Maintain ventilation: While elevating the equipment, ensure that there is good ventilation at the bottom of the equipment to reduce moisture accumulation.

4. Regular inspection and maintenance, check moisture-proof measures: regularly check the integrity of rain cloth, dust cover or awning, and timely repair damaged or displaced parts.

5. Equipment cleaning: Regularly clean the rain and dust on the surface of the equipment to prevent dirt and moisture accumulation and reduce the risk of corrosion.

6. Lubrication and rust prevention: Regularly lubricated the transmission parts of the organic fertilizer production line, and carried out rust prevention treatment on the metal parts, such as coating anti-rust paint or anti-rust oil.

7. Optimize the storage location and choose a dry site: Store the equipment in a place with high terrain and good drainage, avoid low-lying areas and prevent rainwater accumulation.

8. Emergency measures, drainage measures: Set up a drainage ditch or drainage system in the equipment storage area to ensure that rainwater can be quickly discharged to avoid water accumulation.

9. Through the above measures, the risk of moisture exposure of organic fertilizer equipment in open storage can be effectively reduced, the service life of the equipment can be extended, and the normal operation of the equipment can be ensured.
