The reasons for the high ball forming rate of organic fertilizer drum granulator

2024/06/19

Organic fertilizer rotary drum granulator is the process of continuous mixing, impact and friction of wet organic waste or organic raw materials through the rotating drum, so that it gradually forms granular organic fertilizer. The reasons for the high ball forming rate of pelletizer mainly include the following aspects

1. Suitable humidity: The humidity of organic waste or organic raw materials has a great impact on the pelleting rate. If the humidity is too low, the particles are difficult to form, and if the humidity is too high, it is easy to bond. Drum granulator usually has certain requirements for humidity, and proper control of humidity can promote the formation of particles and improve the pellet rate.

2. Appropriate speed and Angle: The speed and Angle of the drum are also important factors affecting the ball formation rate. Appropriate speed and Angle can make the material inside the drum get uniform impact and friction, help to form more uniform particles. Different types of organic waste or organic raw materials may need to adjust the rotation speed and Angle of the drum to achieve the best ball forming effect.

3. Adding auxiliary agents: In the granulation process of the organic fertilizer production line, adding some auxiliary agents, such as binders, lubricants, etc., can increase the adhesion and lubricity of the particles, helping to improve the pellet formation rate.

4. Appropriate time and temperature: The operation time and temperature of the organic fertilizer granulator also have an impact on the pelleting rate. Proper extension of the operation time can make the particles fully formed and reinforced, and proper control of the operating temperature is conducive to the formation and hardening of the particles.

5. Reasonable equipment design: the design parameters of the drum granulator itself will also affect the pellet rate. Reasonable drum structure, stirring device and exhaust system can improve the pellet formation rate.
