Half-Wet Material Crusher

The half-wet material crusher is specialized equipment designed for pulverizing high-moisture, fibrous substances; it serves as core pre-processing machinery in the fields of organic fertilizer production, livestock and poultry manure treatment, and organic waste resource recovery. Utilizing "tandem dual-stage rotor crushing" and a "screenless, anti-clogging design" as its core technologies, the machine integrates the advantages of high crushing efficiency, resistance to sticking and wear, energy conservation, and ease of operation. Thanks to its strong adaptability to high-moisture materials, stable non-clogging performance, and efficient output via dual-stage crushing, it has become indispensable equipment for organic fertilizer production, livestock waste management, and municipal sludge resource recovery.
Regarding critical design features, the crusher is specifically optimized to handle organic fertilizer raw materials characterized by high moisture, high viscosity, and the presence of hard impurities. The machine body is constructed from welded high-quality carbon steel plates and channel steel, offering a robust, pressure-resistant structure capable of withstanding impacts from hard impurities within the semi-wet material. The crushing chamber houses high-alloy, wear-resistant hammers manufactured using a forging process, ensuring superior hardness and durability. It features bidirectional gap adjustment technology; as the hammers wear down, there is no need for repair—continued use is achieved simply by repositioning the hammer blades and adjusting the clearance between the hammers and the liner plates. Additionally, the equipment is equipped with a centralized lubrication system, allowing for lubricant injection without the need to shut down the machine.

Hardware Configuration and Component Functions

The hardware components of the half-wet material crusher primarily include:
(I) Dual-stage rotor assembly: The core crushing component of the equipment, comprising an upper-stage rotor and a lower-stage rotor. The hammerheads are made of high-alloy, wear-resistant material. The upper rotor handles primary crushing, while the lower rotor performs fine crushing.
(II) Frame assembly: Constructed by welding high-quality carbon steel plates and channel steel. The structure is robust, compression-resistant, resistant to deformation, and corrosion-resistant.
(III) Drive assembly: Includes an energy-efficient asynchronous motor, pulleys, and flexible drive belts.
(IV) Feed and discharge assembly: Includes an inclined feed hopper and a screenless discharge outlet.
(V) Centralized lubrication assembly: Allows for the injection of lubricant without shutting down the machine.

Material Range and Processing Capacity

The semi-wet material crusher is capable of processing a wide range of high-moisture organic wastes. These include organic fertilizers (chicken, pig, and cattle manure; sodium humate; peat), agricultural waste (crop stalks, mushroom residue, fruit pomace), municipal waste (municipal solid waste, sewage sludge, kitchen waste), and industrial waste (pharmaceutical residue, distillers' grains). In terms of processing capacity, the equipment meets production requirements ranging from 5 to 100 tons per hour.

Operating Mechanism and Pulverization Principle

The operating mechanism of the half-moist material crusher is based on a synergistic crushing mode combining high-speed rotation of dual-stage rotors with inter-material collisions. Material is fed uniformly into the crushing chamber via an inclined hopper. The upper-stage rotor performs initial crushing, tearing and breaking apart the bulk material. Subsequently, the material is propelled into the lower-stage rotor's crushing zone for fine pulverization. Through the combined effects of impact, shearing, and grinding, the material is reduced to a uniform particle size. Thanks to a screenless design, the crushed material is discharged directly from the outlet. The entire process achieves efficient transformation from bulk material into uniform, fine powder.

Coordination Between the Pulverization Process and the Production Line

The half-wet material crusher plays a pivotal role in organic fertilizer production. It accepts clumped, fermented material at the intake stage and subjects it to a two-stage crushing process. Once the material reaches the specified particle size (20–80 mesh), it proceeds to subsequent stages such as proportioning, mixing, and granulation. The equipment consumes over 25% less energy than traditional wet-material crushers, and its consistent crushing performance ensures uniformity in subsequent proportioning and mixing, as well as high-quality granulation.
